Protection by Partial Backup
Each user working with the developer interface has the possibility to create backup copies of individual database objects, table data or even whole applications by utilizing available actions from the control panel. To export an object, it's sufficient to have the privilege to read that object (if the object is not encrypted).
The application author should consider if it's useful to add data export and import functions to the application. Such functions allow you to effectively create backups of the application data instead of the whole database contents.
