_sysext Scheme
The predefined scheme (application) _sysext exists on the server for use with certain objects:
- Objects that are not a part of an application, but are bound to the SQL operation as a whole,
- objects that are used in specific situations on a SQL server,
- objects that are defined and maintained by the configuration administrators.
A typical example of _sysext scheme components are system triggers or the table for time scheduled processes.
The configuration administrator group is assigned to the Author and Administrator roles in the _sysext scheme.
Object names in this scheme specify their function. If the _on_server_start procedure is in this scheme, then it is called each time the server is started.
